Job Summary: The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Architecture and High-Performance Computing. The department seeks highly qualified and motivated faculty members who are committed to research, innovative teaching, program development, and academic advising.

Department Profile: The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is one of nine departments in the School of Arts and Sciences at LAU. It offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science, a B.S. in Bioinformatics, a B.S. in Mathematics, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Data Science, and an M.S. in Computer Science. The undergraduate program in Computer Science is ABET-accredited.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate documented excellence in research and teaching, along with strong potential to establish and sustain an independent research program. Experience in grant writing, industrial collaboration, or interdisciplinary research is highly desirable. The department is particularly interested in candidates with research specialization in one or more of the following areas: Computer architecture and systems design, Parallel programming and high-performance computing, Hardware accelerators for AI and data-intensive applications, Energy-efficient and scalable computing systems, Reconfigurable architectures and embedded systems.
