Offer Description
The Center for Translational Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) invites applications for three positions of Assistant / Assistant Professor. The successful candidates will conduct research in translational medicine, animal diseases, regenerative medicine and molecular biology, participate in the preparation of research grant applications, and contribute to teaching activities.
Applicants should hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine or a Master's degree in a relevant field. A PhD degree is required for the Assistant Professor position. Experience in laboratory research, scientific publications, teaching, and research grant preparation will be considered an advantage.

Skills/Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Master's degree in a related field.
- PhD degree required for the position of Assistant Professor.
- Experience in research related to animal diseases, human diseases, biology, veterinary medicine, or related disciplines.
- Experience in laboratory work and diagnostic methods.
- Experience in preparing scientific publications and research project applications.
- Experience in teaching courses related to animal diseases and laboratory diagnostics.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for preparing scientific publications and conducting teaching activities.
- Good computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams.
- Ability to use scientific databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
Specific Requirements
- Compliance with the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science and the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
- For the position of Assistant Professor: a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine, medical sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline.
- Documented scientific achievements, including publications in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of animal diseases, human diseases, biology, veterinary medicine, or related disciplines.
- Experience in conducting laboratory research, particularly in areas related to animal diseases, diagnostics, regenerative medicine, translational medicine, or molecular biology.
- Experience in teaching academic courses related to animal diseases and laboratory diagnostics.
- Experience in preparing or participating in research grant applications will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to independently conduct research activities and collaborate within an interdisciplinary research team.

Eligibility criteria

The selection procedure will be conducted in accordance with the regulations of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and applicable national legislation.
