Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Malignant Hematology
About the Job
The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) at the University of Minnesota Medical School, in partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center (an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), is recruiting a faculty physician with expertise in malignant hematology and a strong interest in Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) cancers and lymphoma.
This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). We are seeking a collaborative physician–scientist or clinical investigator who will contribute to the growth of our AYA and lymphoma programs, deliver excellent patient care, and help advance innovative research and clinical trials in hematologic malignancies, cellular therapy, and transplantation.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding clinical care to patients with malignant hematology conditions, with a focus on AYA and lymphoma.
- Lead and participate in clinical, translational, or basic science research, with an emphasis on advancing therapies and survivorship for AYA and lymphoma patients.
- Develop, implement, and oversee innovative clinical trials and research projects in cellular therapy, transplantation, and lymphoma care.
- Contribute to education and mentorship across all levels of medical training.
- Collaborate with institutional leaders to further grow UMN’s AYA and lymphoma research portfolio.

Qualifications
- M.D. (or equivalent) and Board Eligible/Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology.
- Demonstrated excellence in patient care and enthusiasm for working with AYA and lymphoma populations.
- Strong teaching and mentorship skills.
- Evidence of research productivity with potential (or established record) of extramural funding.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota and able to pass credentialing.
- Both early-career fellows and experienced academicians are encouraged to apply.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $55,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
