"Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Higher Education"

Position Overview: "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions, qualifications, and experience. A reasonable estimated salary range for this position is $80,800 - $156,500, inclusive of the salary scale and off-scale salary components.

The School of Education (SOE) at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for a tenure-track open rank position in the area of higher education. We seek applicants who bring critical insights on higher education research through the use of innovative approaches. We are especially interested in scholars who focus on postsecondary educational leadership, student affairs/student development, or organizational behavior.

Responsibilities: Conducting and maintaining a productive program of higher education research; seeking extramural support for research and graduate student support; teaching graduate and undergraduate courses (e.g., in person, online, hybrid, and some weekends); providing mentorship and research guidance to master's and doctoral (EdD and PhD) students; and serving on School and University committees.
