Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $93,700 - $435,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan.

Position description
The Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence within its faculty, staff, and student body and seeks to recruit full- or part-time academic radiology faculty.
The Department of Radiology is one of the most innovative and productive academic departments in the country, offering state-of the-art services for clinical and translational studies.
Selected candidates will contribute to and support all departmental activities, including trainee engagement, scholarly activity, teaching, and University service.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.
Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, or a PhD in a health-related field.
Candidates with an MD, DO, or equivalent degree must be board certified or board eligible in Radiology.
Candidates with an MD, DO, or equivalent degree must also have, or be eligible to obtain, a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
