Job Duties
Building on the Wisconsin RISE Initiative, the School of Human Ecology (SoHE) at University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for 5 full time, tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor.
In SoHE, cross-unit collaborations expand our capacity. We seek colleagues who are imaginative, collaborative, with strong disciplinary training interested in shaping the future in connecting communities.
The successful candidates will bring methodological diversity and rigor applied to understanding and solving real-world problems along with a strengths-based approach to equity and justice.
Specific areas include: RISE-AI: AI-enhanced design analytics; RISE-EARTH: The built environment and its impact; RISE-THRIVE: Social determinants of health.

SCHOOL OF HUMAN ECOLOGY: Understands complex relationships and focuses on human thriving through research, education, and outreach.
Compensation: Negotiable, 9-month appointment.
Required Qualifications
Associate and Full Professor candidates must meet promotion standards. Assistant Professor requires a terminal degree by appointment date.
The successful candidate must lead a research program, attract funding, engage students, and teach courses.
Education
PhD or MFA or other terminal degree required. Preferred areas: Interior Architecture, Design, etc.
