Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Endocrinology
Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a dynamic and accomplished academic endocrinologist to serve as Program Director for its ACGME-accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship Program. Reporting to the Division Chief and working in close collaboration with the Vice Chair of Education, the Program Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the fellowship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of the ACGME-accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship Program
- Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum aligned with ACGME competencies
- Recruit, select, and mentor fellows
- Ensure full compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements
- Participate in clinical instruction of students, residents, and fellows
The role will be provided 20% FTE of non-clinical time.
