JOB DESCRIPTION
CIE and HeXie Academy invite applications for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship. We seek candidates whose research and teaching expertise aligns with one or more of the following priority areas:
Candidates with experience or interest in applying business and management disciplines to industrial contexts such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, advanced materials, or ageing-related industries are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Marketing and Digital Marketing
- Economics and Finance
- Accounting and Financial Management
- Business Statistics and Mathematics
Candidates with experience or interest in applying business and management disciplines to industrial contexts such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, advanced materials, or ageing-related industries are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Conduct cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research that bridges business and management with industrial ecosystem development and innovation strategy.
- Publish high-impact research in leading academic journals and secure competitive external research funding, including both government-funded vertical projects and industry-sponsored horizontal projects.
- Develop, lead, and deliver executive education programmes, industry-collaborative projects, and training camps in entrepreneurship and business innovation.
- Supervise master's and doctoral students, including guiding dissertations and research practicums, and actively involve students in research activities.
- Engage in the "Syntegrative Education" model by fostering deep collaboration with industry partners within Suzhou Industrial Park, Taicang, Kunshan, and beyond.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- A PhD in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or a closely related field.
- A demonstrable record of academic research and publication in reputable, peer-reviewed journals/conferences. Early-career applicants should show evidence of a strong and promising research pipeline.
- Proven experience in teaching and research at the higher education level.
- A strong alignment between research expertise and the strategic focus areas of CIE and HeXie Academy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach in an English-medium, intercultural environment.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
