Key Job Responsibilities:

Clinical duties will be assigned in the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging section and will include the following job duties:

• Performing and interpreting the clinical nuclear medicine PET and Nuclear Cardiology studies
• Evaluating and treating radiotheranostic patients with a high level of excellence.

This position will play a central part in the teaching program engaging with radiology residents and nuclear residents in lectures, regular imaging and radiotheranostics clinical conferences, journal clubs, protocol reviews, as well as side-by-side instruction in the clinic. This position will also participate in medical student teaching. Opportunities exist for participation and development of our nuclear medicine residency program and emerging theranostics training.

In the Fall of 2023, Wisconsin was designated as a Tech Hub by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), which resulted in a grant award of up to $75 million to help accelerate growth of the state's bio health industry. Phase 2 of the Wisconsin Biotech hub was announced in July 2024, resulting in $49 million in additional funding to help drive transformative medical innovation, workforce development and critical job growth across Wisconsin. One of the three technology projects of this proposal is the Wisconsin Health Data Hub, led by researchers from the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health.
