The Department of Dermatology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Dermatologist to join our practice.
Faculty rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
- Participate in patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital service/consults, and in-office procedures.
- Encompass an active role in departmental resident teaching (e.g., clinical resident teaching, evaluating curriculum, completing required evaluations) and contributing to the educational mission through presentations at the local, regional, and national levels.
- Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities, including opportunities to design, lead, or collaborate on clinical trials as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-PI).
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives, clinical pathway development, and peer review processes to elevate patient safety and care delivery.
- Serve on departmental, collegiate, or hospital-wide committees, actively participating in academic service and strategic institutional initiatives. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of a 4-year residency in Dermatology.
- Active and unrestricted Ohio State Medical License.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Candidates that have a past track record of academic excellence and relevant clinical experience in Dermatology.
- Board eligibility/board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
