The Department of Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine seeks to hire a general neurologist or subspecialty trained neurologist at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor
The Division of General Neurology evaluates and treats all neurological conditions. A major role of the division is to ensure patients are seen by appropriate sub-specialists within the department. If the diagnosis is unclear or the patient would benefit from subspecialty care, then the General Neurology Division will initially evaluate patients and make internal referrals to the appropriate sub-specialists to allow for the best possible care.
New London, Connecticut is a small, coastal city with a big heart. Its historic downtown boasts world-class dining and a multitude of renowned arts and cultural attractions. Protected green spaces, a sprawling waterfront, an all-magnet school district, quaint residential streets, and a bustling transportation hub make New London very livable. Qualifications
We seek motivated academic physicians with clinical expertise in: 1) the care of adult general neurology and subspecialty patients, 2) participation in clinical trials, and 3) teaching medical trainees. Practice location will be in New London County. We anticipate faculty applicants to be dedicated to the education of the next generation of subspecialty experts. We provide a highly collaborative, supportive, and mentored environment that promotes specialists to pursue career growth within their specific area of interest. This position offers applicants an exciting opportunity for individual programmatic development and goal discovery across varied academic interests within our division and department.
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board certified/board eligible in Neurology and have completed a General Neurology or other subspecialty fellowship. Applicants must meet the criteria for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut. Faculty rank will be based on experience.
