We are looking for someone who can inspire, motivate, and enhance the knowledge of our students, primarily in the subject area of Computer Science. Knowledge and experience in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security would be advantageous for this role. Appointments to Associate Professor level, will also have a strong industry links that facilitate student engagement through projects, hackathons, internships, and other industry-led activities would be desirable.

The Assistant or Associate Professor of Computer Science will design and deliver high-quality teaching programmes that are engaging, challenging and informed by pedagogy, research and professional practice in line with the University’s Vision, Mission and Values.

The successful candidate will be educated to a postgraduate level (or equivalent) and hold a PhD (completed or near completion, dependent on the appointed level) for the associate professor role, or equivalent industry/professional experience. You will have demonstrable experience of delivering high quality teaching and have proven ability to manage own teaching and related administrative duties. You will have highly developed oral and written communication skills, demonstrating ability to communicate complex information to a range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders.
