Assistant/Associate Professor in Marketing
The Department of Management & Marketing in the John Massey School of Business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Candidates must be AACSB-qualified to teach in Marketing at the graduate and undergraduate level and be able to teach in face-to-face and online formats. The start date is either January 1, 2026 or August 1, 2026 pending budgetary approval.
The applicant will teach a 4/3 course load, conduct, and publish refereed research in the field of marketing, mentor students and provide service to the department, school, university, community, and profession. Summer teaching has historically been available.
Minimum qualifications for an Assistant Professor position are a Ph.D or DBA in Marketing or relevant field from an AACSB accredited program and a strong potential for and commitment to excellence in research and teaching. ABD candidates will be considered but must complete their degree by May 2026. Candidates must have scholarly academic status according to AACSB standards.
Minimum qualifications for an Associate Professor position are a Ph.D or DBA in Marketing or relevant field from an AACSB accredited program and qualification as Scholarly Academic under AACSB criteria. Additionally, candidates must have a demonstrated record of high-quality research published in academic journals, and excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level.
