Job Summary:

The Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor position. Exceptional candidates with expertise in all areas of Industrial Engineering are encouraged to apply. Key research areas of interest include:

• Logistics and Supply Networks
• Systems Engineering (Human-AI teaming, Healthcare, Cyber-Physical Systems)
• Manufacturing Systems, Automation
• Digital Twins (Stochastic Modeling and Simulation)
• Optimization

Responsibilities:

• Conduct original research and secure external funding
• Advise graduate students and mentor junior researchers
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Contribute to service at the School, College, and University levels
• Collaborate with faculty to address societal grand challenges in Industrial Engineering

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
• Early-career applicants: evidence of initiating independent research
• Mid-career applicants: sustained record of independent research, contributions to education and mentoring
