Position Overview
- Seeking an academically oriented neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, focusing on endoscopic spine surgical techniques.
- Additional expertise in spinal oncology, spinal trauma, and advanced technologies (navigation, robotics, biologic repair) is desirable.
- The candidate will join a multidisciplinary spine program and contribute to clinical care, teaching, and research.
- Research-focused applicants with a PhD or equivalent in spinal cord injury, regenerative medicine, or surgical innovation preferred.
- Expected dedication: ≥50% academic activities, including research, teaching, and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Certification in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or recognized equivalent.
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Strong record of clinical excellence, scholarly productivity, and teaching/mentorship.
- Ability to complement the existing spine program with minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical expertise.
