Assistant/Associate Professor Of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences
Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences in the Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences. This is a nine-month, full-time tenure-track faculty position starting in Fall 2026, with possible start in Spring 2026.

About the Department: The department offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech, language, and hearing sciences, including a bilingual (Spanish-English) concentration. It emphasizes community, accessibility, diversity, respect, and excellence.
Position Summary: Responsibilities include teaching 12 credit hours per semester in various modes (in-person, hybrid, asynchronous), advising students, serving on committees, and pursuing scholarly activities focused on community impact, such as professional preparation of diverse students and innovations in clinical service delivery. Summer teaching opportunities may be available.
Required Qualifications: Earned research doctorate in speech-language pathology or related field; Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; eligibility for SLP license in Colorado; evidence of independent university-level teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Focus on voice and/or neurogenic communication disorders; experience as instructor of record; high-impact teaching practices; clinical experience; commitment to equity and inclusion; interprofessional collaboration; scholarly agenda aligned with department priorities; grant pursuit or receipt.
Salary: Ranges from $66,000 - $74,000 for Assistant Professor and $76,000 - $84,000 for Associate Professor.
