This position is a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant/associate/full professor level for the VSCEB. VSCEB is excited to welcome outstanding candidates working in experimental heterogeneous, homogeneous, or bioinspired catalysis who are eager to harness machine learning and artificial intelligence to tackle pressing challenges in energy, environment, bioeconomy, and health. Preference will be given to candidates working in research areas that strengthen our existing research programs such as catalysis, CO2 capture, plastic recycling, computational catalysis and electrocatalysis. Successful candidates are expected to build collaborations within the Voiland School and with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, other WSU departments, nationally and internationally.
