Assistant/Associate Professor – Respiratory Therapy

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Department Head, the role involves developing, delivering, and evaluating courses in Respiratory Therapy. Duties include evaluating student progress, managing resources, liaising with industry, participating in committees, and contributing to professional and community life.

Qualifications:

• Education: PhD or Doctorate in Respiratory Therapy or related field; must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted license.
• Experience: Minimum five years of recent academic experience and two years of clinical practice; demonstrated competence in curriculum development and use of educational technology.
• Scholarship and Research: Contributions to knowledge through research or publication; preference for quality improvement and curriculum development.
• Other Skills: Commitment to applied learning, digital literacy, effective communication, and leadership in technology projects.
