Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure Track - Counseling
Tenure-track faculty teach counseling courses and supervise practicum/internship in a CACREP accredited program. The normal teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year except for the first-year. Tenure-track faculty teach 18 credit hours during their first year of service. Faculty engage in service activities including curriculum development; recruitment; advisement, and retention of culturally and linguistically diverse students. They nurture program relations with area schools, agencies, and community behavioral health centers, including establishing practicum and internship placements. They maintain a program of scholarly research and activity.
