Duties
The School of Nursing, BScN program, invites applications for two (2) Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor positions commencing July 1, 2026. Successful candidates with a bipartite appointment will teach theory and practice courses and engage in service to the school, university, profession, and community.
Qualifications
- PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to doctoral candidates who will complete their degree by the appointment date or shortly thereafter;
- Master’s degree with current practice and teaching experience may be considered;
- Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
- Five (5) years full time or equivalent hours nursing experience;
- Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing;
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
- An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM prior to appointment; and official transcripts along with references
Pay Band: $73,665.93 - $163,084.94 (According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 - TS28))
