Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- qualifications specified in the Act and the Statute;
- no disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the aforementioned Act;
- compliance with the requirements referred to in Article 20(1)(1)–(3) of the aforementioned Act.
Required qualifications:
- specialist education: Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art;
- a strong command of historic and contemporary gilding techniques;
- practical experience in executing and conserving gilding;
- familiarity with the technology of materials used in gilding;
- ability to conduct workshop-based classes and to organize students’ work safely;
- familiarity with the principles of conservation documentation and the ethics of the conservator-restorer’s profession.
Specific Requirements
Additional advantages: experience in working with movable heritage objects; ability to work in a team.
