Compensation Range
Final compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget.

Position Duties
Support the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance in all facets of the Sports Medicine Program. Perform duties related to the care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the intercollegiate athletics programs.Essential Functions
Provide medical care including prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Provide medical coverage at athletic events and practices. Work with affiliated medical staff (health center, general practitioner, orthopedic surgeon, etc) to provide the best care for our student-athletes. Supervise and schedule work study students for the Sports Medicine facility and for intercollegiate competitions. Assist with CPR/AED training of Sports Medicine staff and Athletic Department. Assist with medical insurance. Organize and facilitate weekly physicians clinic. Coordinate Student-Athlete Pre-Participation Exams. Assist in the daily administration and operation of the athletic training facility. Maintain medical records and compile medical updates for coaching staff, strength coaches, physicians, head athletic trainer, and academic support staff. Supervise work-study students for the athletic training facility. Mentor and supervise intern student trainers. Assist with monitoring medical supplies and inventory. Monitor athletic training room supplies and reorder stock as necessary. Coordinate rehabilitation programs for injured athletes. Monitor, document, and communicate progress. Non essential: Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in a college or other sports medicine setting. Knowledge and skills in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries incurred from participation in competitive athletics. Basic knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines. Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both orally and in writing. CPR/AED Instructor Certification preferred. Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for institutional diversity.
