Job Summary

This position works independently carrying out the duties assigned with the specific sports. This includes the athletic training duties of treatment, rehabilitation of student athletes in 13 NCAA sponsored sports. This position is responsible for post-surgery procedures and rehabilitation of the student athletes. Additional responsibilities includes working with medical coverage of all sports; setting up diagnostic tests and doctor appointments; administering of NCAA and in-house drug testing; inventory of equipment and supplies; administering of pre participation physicals for 300+ student athletes; inputting and updating of medical records into the computer system. inventory for the purchasing of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

Works independently in performing the duties required so each specific sport as assigned have the proper athletic training. Supervision and guidance of graduate assistants and student volunteers. Work with the Insurance Coordinator in the verification of medical coverage for all sports. Works with the Head Athletic Trainer in the athletic training room coverage.
