Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously enhance
compliance monitoring systems and procedures to support
institutional control.
Interpret NCAA, conference, and institutional legislation and
provide timely guidance to coaches, staff, student-athletes,
boosters, and campus constituents.
Oversee monitoring activities related to recruiting,
eligibility, amateurism, financial aid, awards and benefits,
playing and practice seasons, camps and clinics, and personnel
issues.
Coordinate student-athlete eligibility certification and
continuing eligibility processes.
Investigate potential NCAA, conference, and institutional
violations and prepare reports and corrective action plans as
necessary.
Develop and deliver comprehensive rules education programming
for coaches, staff, student-athletes, and campus stakeholders.
Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure timely
submission of all NCAA and conference reports.
Coordinate institutional reviews, audits, NCAA self-studies,
conference reporting requirements, and compliance assessments.
Collaborate with athletics leadership to identify compliance
risks and implement proactive strategies to mitigate those
risks.
Serve as the compliance liaison for the institution's NCAA ice
hockey program, monitoring recruiting, eligibility, financial aid,
and sport-specific legislative requirements.
Academics Success and Student-Athlete Development

Provide strategic leadership for student-athlete academic
support services and success initiatives.

Monitor academic progress, retention, eligibility, and
graduation outcomes for all student-athletes.

Coordinate programs designed to support academic achievement,
including study hall, tutoring, academic mentoring, and progress
reporting.

Serve as a liaison with Academic Services, faculty, department
chairs, the Registrar's Office, and other campus partners.

Assist student-athletes with academic planning, course
registration, degree progress, and NCAA academic eligibility
requirements.

Monitor degree completion and progress-toward-degree
requirements utilizing institutional systems and reporting
tools.

Identify academically at-risk student-athletes and develop
intervention strategies in collaboration with campus partners.

Support initiatives that promote student-athlete engagement,
leadership development, career readiness, and overall
well-being.

Work closely with the Faculty Athletics Representative on
academic matters and NCAA eligibility certification.
Admissions and Enrollment Coordination

Serve as the primary athletics liaison to Undergraduate
Admissions regarding prospective student-athletes.

Coordinate admissions reviews, academic pre-read processes, and
communication regarding priority recruits.

Partner with coaching staffs to facilitate admissions and
enrollment processes for prospective student-athletes.

Maintain comprehensive recruiting and prospect databases to
ensure accurate NCAA reporting and tracking.

Communicate admissions policies, procedures, and annual profile
updates to coaching staffs.

Collaborate with Admissions, Financial Aid, the Registrar, and
Academic Services to support a seamless transition for incoming
student-athletes.
Sport Administration and Department Leadership

Provide sport supervision and administrative oversight for
assigned programs.

Participate in departmental strategic planning, policy
development, and student-athlete welfare initiatives.

Serve on institutional and departmental committees as
assigned.

Support athletics events and championship operations as
needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of
Athletics.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
-
2 years of related experience.
-
Preferred 1-2 years of progressively responsible experience in
NCAA compliance, athletics administration, academic services,
admissions, or a related higher education field.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and demonstrated ability
to apply legislative interpretations.

Experience working collaboratively across campus departments and
with diverse stakeholders.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving
skills.

Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation
skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high
level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Valid driver's license and ability to meet institutional driving
requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree.

Experience in NCAA Division II athletics administration.

Experience with NCAA compliance software platforms and student
information systems.

Experience in student-athlete academic support, eligibility
certification, or admissions coordination.

Experience conducting NCAA rules education and compliance
monitoring programs.

Prior supervisory or sport administration experience.
