POSITION SUMMARY: The Helen S. Breidegam School of Nursing at Moravian University is seeking a qualified applicant for a full time position to provide support for its rapidly expanding programs. This position is for a twelve (12) month appointment, with expertise in the area of Maternal and Child Health.

The successful candidate will teach courses required for undergraduate and accelerated BSN students. Effective teaching, community engagement, and student interaction are essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General

• Participates in ongoing curriculum and course revisions...
• Teaches undergraduate students...

Supervision/Mentoring

• Serves as academic advisor for nursing students.

Teaching and Scholarship

• Typical teaching load includes teaching 10 courses throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualification as a Registered Nurse is required. A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse is required. Eligible for current and unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctoral degree is preferred.
