Assistant Coach
Lake Forest College, located just north of Chicago, invites applications for the anticipated part-time stipend positions for Assistant Coaches in the following sports: Football, Men’s Volleyball, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Football (Defense), Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Golf, Men’s Lacrosse, Cheerleading, Dance Team, Track and Field. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking experience in a Division III collegiate coaching environment. The position requires a significant commitment to evening and weekend work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the Forester athletic department, supporting the mission, goals, and procedures of both the department and the College.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation, recruiting and developing student-athletes, preparing scouting reports, and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Sport Coach. The successful candidate will foster a positive team environment and motivate student-athletes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is a seasonal stipend that varies based on sport and team available budget. The range per sport: Football (4,500 - 5,500), Men’s and Women’s Volleyball ($10,000-$15,000), Men’s and Women’s Basketball ($15,000-$24,000), Women’s Soccer ($3,000-$6,000), Men’s Soccer ($8,000-$15,000) Cheerleading and Dance ($8,000-$10,000), Women’s Golf ($5,000-$7,000), Men’s Lacrosse ($10,000-$15,000), Track and Field (3,000-6,000), Sports Information (8,000-10,000) depending on position.
