Join a nationally recognized Women's Ice Hockey program with a strong history of regional and national success! Williams College is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven Assistant Coach who is ready to contribute to a culture that champions both academic and athletic competitive excellence.
The Assistant Coach of Women's Ice Hockey is a 10-month, 40-hour per week position with a salary of $38,850, and comes with a full meal plan. This role is fully benefitted and also provides full tuition remission of graduate school coursework after six months of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in all areas, including:
- Collaborating on and executing practice design, as well as individual skill development
- Assisting with developing and implementing game strategy
- Support recruiting by identifying and attracting top talent
- Travel organization, team transportation and driving
- Home game management
- Video and statistical analysis and game breakdown
- Administrative office duties, including budget management
- Other duties as assigned by head coach
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and collegiate competing and/or coaching experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively preferred
- Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA and NESCAC rules
- The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the ability to recruit, teach, and coach highly talented scholar-athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment
- Valid driver's license is required
To prepare for the season & academic year, the anticipated start date for this position is the beginning of August, 2026.
