Carnegie Mellon University's department of Athletics is searching for a Part-Time Assistant Track and Field Coach. You will contribute to the department by providing assistance to the head coach with all aspects of the track & field program. This is a part-time, seasonal, academic year position.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Assist head coach with all aspects of the track and field program, including preparation for practice specifically with long and triple jumping events, meet preparation and set up, weight room supervision and assistance, travel and other duties as assigned by the head coach
- Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes
- Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport programs goals set by head coach
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience required; coaching long & triple jumpers or being a horizontal jumps athlete is preferred.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
- Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
- Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
