"Assistant Data Manager"

The University of Edinburgh - Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit is looking for an Assistant Data Manager to support its function as a UKCRC registered clinical trials unit by providing expertise to deliver successful clinical research projects within the Data Management team.

Location: Usher Institute, Edinburgh Bioquarter (Hybrid working options available, with a minimum of 40% on-campus working).

Salary: £34,610 to £39,906 per annum.

Hours: Full Time.

Contract Type: Fixed-Term/Contract.

Under the guidance of the Data Manager, you will work alongside ECTU Trial Managers and the Data Management team to ensure the smooth and effective development and delivery of data management plans and data management activities for the ECTU clinical trial portfolio.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Work experience including experience in a clinical trials or research coordination post, or relevant degree with work experience in a clinical trials or research coordination post.
• Good knowledge of database management.
• Experience in working with confidential data.
• The ability to work within strict guidelines and prioritise workload.
• Excellent attention to detail.
