Assistant Director, Athletics Facilities

Manages building operations for the Athletics Department. Directs preventative, routine, and corrective maintenance for the facility and its equipment. Works collaboratively with CSU staff to ensure a successful Division I Basketball game day in accordance with Cleveland State University (CSU), NCAA, and league policies. Serves as a liaison with stakeholders to ensure event success, venue safety, and outstanding customer service. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably in sports management, business administration, facilities management, recreation administration, or related field.
Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in facility operations, event management, athletic operations, or building/facilities management. Experience includes any graduate assistant or internship roles.
Ability to be flexible regarding daily work schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership experience overseeing facility or building operations for a NCAA Division I athletics environment.
