Assistant Director, Development - Donor Experience Officer
Law Development & Alumni Affairs
Georgia State University
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Development, the Donor Experience Officer (DXO) will focus on qualifying and soliciting leadership annual giving prospects ($1,000-$10,000) for the College of Law and leading the Law Firm Campaign.
As we gear up for the next campaign, this position will help fill the gap in the donor pipeline and serve the need to grow and expand the donor base. The DXO will achieve this by identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors through various mediums, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, texting, social media, mail, video conferencing and email.
Through the DXO program, this position will work closely with the central Annual Giving department, the lead DXO and DXOs in other cohorts to ensure all donor experience strategies are executed properly. The DXO will also collaborate with the Annual Giving team to utilize existing central technologies that assist outreach efforts. The two primary goals of this position are to assist with donor pipeline development and identify major gift leads for development officers.
