Job Summary
Independently plan and implement academic affairs operations including faculty support, curriculum management and training.
Job Specific Responsibilities
Program Management and Leadership: Works closely with the Director to uphold and enhance the quality of the First-Year Seminar Program (FYSP); contributes to strategic planning and design; manages administrative processes for faculty and students, including developing seminars, handling budgets, overseeing applications, and advising on offerings.
Administrative Oversight: Oversees Standing Committee meetings, reviews proposals, analyzes data, and leads AI technology deployment for operations.
Data Management Oversight: Gathers and analyzes program data, creates databases, and delivers reports for faculty recruitment.
Management Responsibilities: Supervises, trains, and mentors the Program Coordinator.
Campus Collaborations: Manages relationships, communications, and represents the program in various capacities.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office setting. Involves sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and other physical exertion.
Qualifications
Basic: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years’ relevant experience. Additional: AI literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
