- Represent the College and provide information and counseling to prospective students, families, counselors and others through interviews, group presentations, and phone and email communications
Manage a defined recruitment territory; plan and conduct travel to visit high schools, attend college fairs and conferences, and connect with prospective studentsReview applications individually and in committee settings, recommend candidates for admission, and serve on admission selection committeesMaintain and increase the selectivity, quality and diversity of the applicant pool and matriculants through a variety of recruitment and yield activitiesManage a portfolio of specific admission programs and projects assigned by the Director and/or DeanAssist in the planning and implementation of student recruitment strategies and contribute to the development of new and creative admission programsBuild and maintain relationships with community partners including current students, faculty, administrators, alumni and the public to support recruitment and yield activitiesPrepare statistical and area reports including appropriate recommendations or conclusionsInterpret educational policy and institutional mission of the College to perpetuate its intellectual quality
