-Coordinates admissions email, text, print, digital, and social media communications to support recruitment, application completion, enrollment, and yield initiatives.
-Manages the Office of Admissions social media presence and develops engaging content for social media and digital platforms, including graphics, photography, short-form video, student features, event coverage, admissions opportunities, and enrollment information.
-Develops and maintains an admissions communication and content calendar aligned with recruitment priorities and enrollment goals.
-Collaborates with the Office of Marketing and Communications to align admissions communications and recruitment campaigns with institutional branding, communications efforts and marketing plans
-Coordinates the development and maintenance of admissions recruitment materials, including brochures, flyers, postcards, presentations, digital resources, and event materials.
-Reviews admissions communications and marketing materials to ensure information is accurate, consistent, timely, and student-centered.
-Analyzes communication engagement, social media metrics, recruitment data, and enrollment outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
-Provides communication and marketing support for major admissions events, recruitment initiatives, and enrollment campaigns.
-Collaborates with Enrollment Services leadership and campus partners to support division-wide communications and special initiatives.
Coordinates admissions processing - 30%-Coordinates and oversees the processing and review of new student and readmission applications and documents.
-Directs workflow for incoming admissions documents and ensures timely and accurate processing.
-Reviews and makes admissions decisions in accordance with established admissions requirements.
-Ensures admissions and readmission processes adhere to Dalton State College and University System of Georgia policies, procedures, and regulations.
-Monitors processing timelines, workloads, and application completion to provide timely and student-centered service.
-Develops and performs regular data audits and cleanup projects to maintain data accuracy.
-Identifies opportunities to streamline admissions processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and student experience.
-Collaborates with other Enrollment Services departments to address processing and operational needs throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
-Provides direct processing support during high-volume periods and as needed.
-Supports Data Processing Team.
Supports Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other technology initiative - 25%-Assists with the use and continued development of Slate CRM for Admissions and the Enrollment Services division.
-Creates and maintains Slate communication campaigns, populations, queries, reports, forms, and other tools related to admissions communications and recruitment initiatives.
-Assists Enrollment Services departments with Slate communications, campaigns, and CRM-related projects as needed.
-Supports the testing and implementation of new Slate functionality, communication strategies, and admissions workflows.
-Monitors admissions data and communication processes within Slate and works with appropriate staff to identify and resolve issues.
-Provides input on CRM enhancements based on admissions, communication, recruitment, and processing needs.
-Supports staff training related to admissions communications and relevant Slate functionality.
-Collaborates with the Director of Admissions, Enrollment Services leadership, and appropriate campus partners on assigned Slate and technology initiatives.
-Assists with monitoring data integrity within CRM and Banner for Admissions.
Performs supervision, assessment, and other related duties - 10%-Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff.
-Establishes operational priorities, performance expectations, and workflow assignments for admissions processing functions to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
-Provides leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for assigned staff to promote engagement, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee growth.
-Develops, monitors, and analyzes key performance indicators related to admissions processing, communications, marketing, social media engagement, recruitment efforts, and enrollment outcomes.
-Represents the Office of Admissions on internal and external committees and at college events as assigned.
-Collaborates with Admissions staff to support recruitment events, campus programs, and enrollment priorities.
-Maintains knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in admissions communications, social media, enrollment management, and student recruitment.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Educational RequirementsBaccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Required ExperienceMore than two years of related experience required.
