Assist in the development and implementation of nursing
policies and procedures
Assist in supervising and evaluating nursing faculty and staff
performance
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Assist in coordination of curriculum and evaluation, mentoring,
accreditation, clinical, and remediation processes
Participate in the recruitment and training of faculty and
nursing staff
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide
comprehensive patient care
Assist in budget planning and management
Some requirement to teach in the BSN and ASN programs
Assist in maintaining standards of nursing education set by
state and national accrediting agencies.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with personnel of
cooperative agencies and clinical sites
Involve alumni and employers of graduates in periodic
evaluation of the nursing programs.
Counsel and guide students in their educational, professional,
and vocational goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or
similar administrative role in academia or healthcare
- Current RN license in the state of Missouri
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of nursing best practices and regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced
environment
- Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degree in Nursing
required
