Assistant Director of Operations, Admissions & Student Affairs
Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Associate Director of Operations, the Assistant Director of Operations will be an integral part of the Admissions and Student Affairs organization, working with the Offices of Admissions & Financial Aid, Student Success, Academic Affairs, and Student Records. This role will support the Sr. Associate Director of Operations in maintaining and further developing GSE's two instances of the Slate CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of operations for the Admissions and Student Affairs organization including technical aspects of the Slate CRM systems, developing communications, forms, and workflows, event set-up, building reports and dashboards, troubleshooting technical issues, and automating processes.
- Manage the timeline and workflow for the applicant evaluation process including pre-screening applications, assignment to reviewers, recording decisions, and personally reviewing a large portfolio of applications.
- Assist prospective students, applicants, and admitted students by responding to inquiries.
- Attend recruitment and yield events and support current student events such as New Student Orientation and Commencement.
- Assist in responding to data and reporting requests from academic programs and other constituencies.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL: A Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
PREFERRED: Prior knowledge of the Slate application system or a similar CRM is strongly preferred.
