Job Description
The Assistant Director of Simulation and Training at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) helps manage the operations of the Clinical Examination Center (CEC), Simulation Lab, and Clinical Skills Lab within the Center for IPE and Simulation (CIPES) on the Orange Park, Florida campus.
Required Qualifications
BS in a health profession, education or related field Work experience in a simulation lab environment
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree At least two (2) years work experience in a simulation lab environment Management experience.

Job Duties
- Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of all CIPES spaces, including the Clinical Examination Center (CEC), Simulation Lab, and Clinical Skills Lab. This includes managing calendars, schedules, and ensuring all spaces and equipment are ready for use.
- Supervision and Training: Supervise all activities within the Simulation Lab, CEC, and Clinical Skills Lab. This involves overseeing the use and control of simulation manikins, instructing during training sessions and demonstrations, and organizing tours and special events.
- Program Development and Improvement: Work with the CIPES team and course directors to continuously evaluate and improve program content, equipment, and simulation technologies. Participate in relevant national and local meetings to stay current with best practices
- Equipment and Inventory: Work with vendors to obtain quotes, manage contracts, resolve technical issues, and keep all equipment up-to-date. Inventory, control, and supply all lab areas as needed.
- Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws in Tennessee and Florida, as well as all LMU, LMU-DCOM, and CIPES policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining simulation accreditation and completing all required institutional and program reports.
- Interpersonal and Community Relations: Promote a positive and effective working environment for all faculty, staff, and students. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, using strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Participate in community outreach programs and university committees.
- Miscellaneous: Perform other duties as assigned.
