Assistant Director of Student Conduct
Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of best practices in the student conduct field
- Demonstrated experience making complex decisions
- Able to serve all students
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, a collaborative communication style, strong interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Earned Master's degree
- Progressive experience in student conduct, student affairs, or related work
- Knowledge of current trends and issues facing the student conduct field and higher education
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines related to student conduct
- Experience with Maxient or other database management systems
- Enthusiastic about engaging with college students in an educational setting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a Conduct Resolution Administrator, review, adjudicate, and manage conduct cases;
- Facilitate the academic integrity process and the formal resolution process;
- Assist in addressing off-campus conduct violations;
- Serve as a liaison to local law enforcement, including University Police and off-campus agencies;
- Serve as a liaison to University Housing staff;
- Research trends and assist with the implementation of best practices related to student conduct and academic integrity;
- Work collaboratively with units throughout the University;
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the office, including file maintenance and administrative support.
Work Schedule/Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00pm, flexibility required
Suggested Salary Range: $46,000 - $55,000 depending on degree earned
