Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions
Job Summary:
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions. The Assistant Director of Transfer and International Admissions is responsible for managing the recruitment, admission, and enrollment processes for transfer and international students at Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA). This role ensures that the university attracts, admits, and enrolls high-quality students through data-driven strategies, collaborative partnerships, and exceptional customer service. The Assistant Director provides leadership in outreach, application review, and the development of policies and programs that enhance the transition and success of transfer and international students. This position requires extensive travel, public speaking, relationship management, and engagement with domestic and international partners to achieve institutional enrollment goals. AA/EOE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, International Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
- Experience working with transfer and/or international student populations.
- Knowledge of transfer credit evaluation, articulation agreements, and international admissions practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, International Education, or a related field.
- Experience with international student recruitment, including SEVIS and F-1 visa processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Slate and Banner, or similar enrollment management platforms.
- Experience establishing community college partnerships or developing articulation agreements.
- Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, or Mandarin preferred).
