Assistant Director of Workforce Development
Job Description
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Workforce Development. This position reports to the Director of Education, Training, and Workforce Development. This position assists the Director in the identification, development, and implementation of programs, courses and services required to meet the in-service, non-credit, retraining and continuing education needs of the area's business and industrial community. In addition, this position also assists the Director in professional and clerical staff supervision, promotional activities, and the overall functioning of the department and assumes the responsibility for operation of the department in the absence of the Director.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required. Master's degree preferred.
- Additional training and/or education in the adult education field is desirable.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in program/project administration and/or economic development required.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience required.
- Experience in project management, marketing, training and/or workforce development preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
The minimum annual salary for this position is $62,147. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
