Offer Description
The competition may be applied by persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 and 116 section 2 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, specifically, the following qualification criteria:
- A Theology Master’s degree with the specialization in Biotechnology
- Representing the discipline of biblical sciences in the field of theological sciences
- Documented competence and experience in teaching at the academic level
- Experience in research, evidenced by achievement(s) in the two years preceding the competition announcement, in the form of at least one article in a journal from the list with a score of at least 70 points, or at least two articles in journals from the list with a score of at least 40 points, or authorship/co-authorship of a scientific monograph

Specific Requirements
- Completion of postgraduate studies in food analytics, food safety, and food certification
- Documented research collaboration with academic staff, evidenced by publications
- Publications in Scopus- and/or Web of Science-indexed journals with a score of at least 100 or 140 points would be an advantage
- Documented participation in research projects
- Documented active participation in international and/or national scientific conferences
- Documented experience in organising scientific conferences
- Documented involvement in knowledge dissemination
- Documented involvement in science communication and public engagement activities
- Advanced progress towards a doctoral degree in Biotechnology would be an advantage
- Completion of professional training courses for researchers would be an advantage

Eligibility criteria
Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit the following documents:
- CV
- Personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment
- Copy of Masters’s diploma
- Information about the Candidate’s research, teaching and organisational activities
- A statement that the Catholic University of Lublin will be the primary place of employment if the candidate wins the competition
- Declaration of meeting the requirements specified in Art. specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science
- References and/or opinions about predispositions to conduct scientific research and teaching – taking into account the results of student surveys, if the candidate was subject to such an assessment
- In the case of clergy, consent of the relevant Ordinary (or relevant Religious Superior) to take up employment at the Catholic University of Lublin
