RECTOR OF CZESTOCHOWA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
invites applications for the position of
ASSISTANT (F/M)
IN THE GROUP OF RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAFF
IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
at the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
Applicants must meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, the Statute of Czestochowa University of Technology, and the specific criteria established by the selection committee of the relevant unit.
Eligibility criteria:
- A Declaration to publish scholarly work in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of Information and Communication Technology.
- Availability for full-time employment at Czestochowa University of Technology for a period of one year with a possible extension.
- Holding a Master or Master of Science degree.
- Experience in conducting teaching activities in the field of artificial intelligence relevant to the course content within a discipline of Information and Communication Technology is an asset.
- Relevant teaching achievements is an asset.
- Scientific publications at international scientific conferences focused on artificial intelligence are an asset.
- Practical experience related to leading development, educational, or higher education internationalization projects is an asset.
- Completion of postgraduate qualification in pedagogical training is an asset.
- Experience in the organisational activities of a higher education institution is an asset, e.g. event organisation, involvement in promotional activities, or experience as an editor of the institution’s website or social media channels. Completion of a training course related to online promotion is an asset.
- Experience in organising conferences related to IT is an asset.
- Experience in developing and implementing study programmes, including international programmes, is an asset.
- Completion of courses or training in adapting teaching materials to the needs of persons with disabilities and raising awareness of their needs is an asset.
- Good command of English, confirmed by an international certificate or a certificate issued by a language school.
- Good command of the Polish language, both spoken and written, is a mandatory requirement for employment (for foreign nationals).
- Willingness to teach in English.
- References from a workplace supervisor or an academic supervisor at a higher education or research institution are an asset.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting scientific research and development work.
- Conducting teaching activities.
- Performing organisational duties.
We offer:
- Full-time employment under an employment contract.
- Remuneration in accordance with Annex No. 1 to the Remuneration Regulations for Employees of Czestochowa University of Technology (the regulations are available at: https://pcz.pl/pracownik/sprawy-kadrowe-i-socjalne/dzial-personalny/regulamin-wynagradzania-pracownikow-politechniki-czestochowskiej).
- Seniority allowance depending on years of service, i.e., from 3% to 20% of the basic salary.
- Other remuneration components specified in the Remuneration Regulations for Employees of Czestochowa University of Technology.
- Additional voluntary group insurance.
- Subsidies for holidays for employees and their children (the so-called “holiday allowance”).
- Subsidies for sports and recreational activities as well as cultural and educational activities.
