The role
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager who is responsible for assisting all restaurant operations, developing strong leaders, and ensuring consistent execution of standards in service, food quality, and hospitality. A successful Assistant General Manager builds a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride in every shift. This position reports to the General Manager.
What you’ll do
- Assist with overseeing all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and strong performance across all departments.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members to build a high-performing, guest-focused culture.
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency while maintaining quality and hospitality standards.
- Ensure consistent execution of food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and training to support business needs.
- Assist with monitoring financial performance, including labor, food cost, and controllable expenses.
- Resolve guest and team concerns with professionalism, fairness, and urgency.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you’ll need
- Previous management experience in family or casual dining required
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
