Offer Description
The employment contract will be concluded for a fixed period from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, for part-time work (16 hours per week).
Requirements for the position:
- second-cycle higher education degree or former university degree in the field of translation and consecutive interpreting,
- valid election to the title of Assistant or Lecturer in the field of Italian Language, or fulfillment of the requirements for election to the title,
- organizational skills, ability to work in a team,
- communication skills, independence, initiative, and practical skills,
- active knowledge of Slovenian, Italian, and one world language,
- computer skills and proficiency in using audiovisual equipment.
What we expect from the candidate:
- experience in teaching Italian as a second/foreign language,
- experience in preparing learning materials for teaching Italian as a second/foreign language,
- knowledge of tools and applications for the creation, preparation, and design of learning materials,
- experience in teaching university students,
- desire for continuous professional and scientific-research development in the relevant subject field,
- creativity, motivation, ability to lead small groups, responsiveness and accuracy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 5 years of work experience in teaching within educational institutions, and candidates whose native language is Italian.
If the selected candidate does not hold a valid election to the academic title, the employment contract will be signed after the election to the title is completed.
