Offer Description
Main tasks:
- conducting research activities in the field of biological sciences or chemical sciences, with a focus on biochemistry, including preparing or contributing to the preparation of scientific publications and developing one's own research interests;
- participating in the implementation of research projects or activities aimed at obtaining research funding, including cooperation within research teams;
- developing one's scientific potential, including preparing a doctoral dissertation or participating in doctoral school education;
- teaching or co-teaching courses and preparing teaching materials;
- supporting the teaching process and developing teaching competencies;
- participating in the organizational activities of the Faculty and cooperating in the implementation of team tasks.
Formal requirements:
- meeting the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science;
- holding a Master’s degree in the field of exact and natural sciences, specifically in biological sciences or chemical sciences;
- submitting all documents required to participate in the competition.
Substantive requirements:
- research experience, understood as authorship or co-authorship of at least one scientific paper or participation in the preparation of a scientific publication;
- experience in teamwork, understood as participation in at least one joint project;
- experience in teaching or co-teaching courses for at least 15 hours, or experience in preparing teaching materials;
- potential for teaching, understood as the ability to present information in an organized and engaging manner, maintaining the audience’s attention and facilitating understanding of the content conveyed;
- fluent command of Polish, both spoken and written, enabling the candidate to conduct classes in a clear, fluent and engaging manner;
- command of English at a minimum B2 level.
Required documents (necessary to enter the competition):
The following documents are required in order to participate in the competition:
- CV (academic and professional résumé);
- scans of diplomas confirming completion of studies and diplomas confirming academic degrees obtained;
- a list of research and teaching achievements from the last five years, including information on published monographs, articles and reviews, active participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research, as well as achievements in student education;
- a list of any scientific awards;
- information on organizational achievements;
- a set of candidate declarations*:
- declaration concerning the primary place of employment;
- declaration concerning assignment to a discipline and inclusion in the N number;
- declaration of commitment to submit a Research Development Plan;
- declaration of no criminal record;
- information obligation clause;
- consent to the processing of personal data.
