Description of Post
The Faculty of Engineering & Computing has a varied portfolio of industry and professional practice focused programmes.
The School of Computing (Donegal Campus) within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing seeks applications in the following areas
- Computer Games Development
Delivery will normally be on campus and, as a condition of employment, successful candidates will be expected to be available to teach on campus. The post may include elements of project-based and blended learning, with online learning by agreement.
The lecturer will join an enthusiastic team engaging in collaborative learning on other shared modules across the range of disciplines.
Pedagogic staff development is encouraged and cognate qualification progression is also supported.
Essential Qualifications
- An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant Level 8 degree [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)], or equivalent majoring in Computer Games Development.
- Three years relevant post-qualification experience i.e., 3 years relevant experience having gained the qualifications above.
