Competitive starting salary range from £32,942 up to £37,087 per annum (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, diagnostic radiography, podiatry, clinical psychology and public health. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice, Independent prescribing and Global Healthcare Management.
The Role
As Assistant Lecturer in Dietetics based within the School of Health and Care you will support teaching, curriculum development, and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate teaching and other core activities.
Assisting in teaching on modules and courses at Higher Education levels 4 - 6, you will deliver a variety of student learning sessions including small group teaching and marking. Supporting students through both informal and formal communication throughout teaching semesters students have an effective learning experience.
Duties include:
- Uphold high standards of academic integrity in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment and to support students in this objective.
- Support practice-based learning and provide feedback to learners.
- Contribute to the design and development of course materials and practice based learning across the Dietetic courses.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree leading to registration as Dietitian.
- Registered Dietitian with the HCPC.
- Experience of working within the UK as a dietitian.
- Willingness to acquire a teaching qualification if not already held.

A strong communicator with excellent digital skills, you will have experience using Aula or other forms of communication to deliver student communications, assurance of timely and accurate information and high standard teaching material
You will be registered with the HCPC as a Dietitian and have experience of working within health and care in the UK.
