TASKS/ROLE
- conducting teaching activities (classes and laboratory sessions) in fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics and fluid-flow machinery, including turbines, pumps and compressors
- preparing teaching materials and supporting student projects and laboratory-based student work
- conducting scientific research using experimental and numerical methods in the field of fluid flows and rotating machinery
- preparing, operating and developing experimental test rigs, measurement systems and data acquisition systems
- processing and analysing research results, preparing scientific publications and participating in research and organisational projects of the Division

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- higher technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field, confirmed by a Master of Engineering degree
- knowledge of fluid mechanics, fluid-flow machinery and fundamentals of thermodynamics
- basic knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the ability to analyse numerical results
- ability to conduct or support experimental research and operate basic measuring instruments
- fluent Polish, spoken and written (C1/C2)
- good command of English, spoken and written
- knowledge of the principles governing higher education institutions or readiness to acquire such knowledge quickly
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- practical knowledge of CFD software, e.g. Siemens STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent or OpenFOAM
- experience in preparing and conducting fluid-flow experiments and validating numerical models
- ability to design and build components of experimental test rigs, including knowledge of CAD tools and basic workshop tools
- experience in operating measurement and data acquisition systems and analysing experimental data
- interest in further scientific development, in particular in pursuing a doctoral degree
