Responsibilities
- Support the provision and implementation of a suite of services to facilitate activities across the research lifecycle, including but not limited to data harvesting, research information management, researcher identity management, open access, research impact, and analytics
- Assist in arranging and managing Special Collections
- Support digitization and publishing activities to disseminate intellectual outputs or creative works produced by the Lingnan community
- Assist in managing various digital service platforms, such as Research Information Management System (RIMS), digital publishing platforms, archives information systems, open access platforms, researcher identity management systems, and research impact and analytics dashboards
- Perform counter and shift duties on a regular basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- A recognized university degree or associate degree
- Strong data handling skills with proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Platform)
- Graphic design ability with excellent knowledge of design software (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign)
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- A positive working attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fresh graduates are welcome
Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at the relevant rank.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
