The assistant coach will work under the direct supervision of the men's tennis head coach and the women's tennis head coach. Responsible for execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within assigned sport. These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas: on-court hitting and coaching leading drills providing encouragement and instruction to student-athletes adherence to each Head Coach's philosophy Attendance at all required compliance educational meetings. Accountable for maintaining professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Accountable for student-athlete welfare while coaching. Candidate must demonstrate: significant knowledge of tennis; proven success as a student-athlete or coach at the college level; strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes; knowledge and commitment to University, Conference and NCAA regulations; good communication skills; strong leadership qualities.
